About Erica
My name is Erica Lin and I am a graphic designer for a well known agency in the Washington, D.C. area. I enjoy customizing Fashion Royalty and Barbie dolls and I also enjoy painting. I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years and now plan to expand my art into photography of dolls.
I started collecting barbie dolls in 2003 and Fashion Royalty dolls in 2005. I’ve always loved barbie dolls ever since childhood and would often cut all of the hair off of my dolls in an attempt to be a doll hairstylist. I guess after so many bald dolls and hair mistakes, I finally found my love of styling doll hair. Now I cut, reroot, style and braid custom styles for my dolls. I have been rerooting both barbie and Fashion Royalty dolls for over two years now and currently taking commissions for reroots.
